On some machines in our network (Windows 7, 64-bit), we cannot merge any PDF. The message "The following files can’t be converted: " appears for each file, when selecting the command (“Create PDF and Bitmap files with PDF Creator”).
What can we do so that we can combine PDF again?

please try to run the PDFCreator.exe and drag&drop the files into the PDFCreator startup window.
Another potential solution might be to install a different PDFCreator version or to change the default PDF viewer.
The “Create PDF and Bitmap files with PDF Creator” is currently not always working correctly. It first checks, whether the type of file is printable or not, but the check currently fails for specific applications/Windows versions, as there are now multiple places where this can be registered and even the .NET methods for getting the print/open with commands are failing in some cases.

I made a first test on one affect pc (drag and drop - the first solution) and it seems to work.
The user can combine the files without an error.
Can we expect in the near future with a working “Create PDF and Bitmap files with PDF Creator”?

we did attempt to fix this for the current version, but it only fixed the problem for some Windows versions and made it worse for others. We are trying to find a solution that works for all systems, but this might not be available in the near future.
