I bought edit, convert, insert. I get no edit and if I click on user guide nothing happens

I just bought the standard package. I tried to edit a file. I managed to change the page size, but architect chops off half the page. I tried clicking on user guide but nothing happens.

What should I do? Where is there help? How do I get the user guide?
