Pdfcreator making huge files (2x larger than previously)

I use PDFCreator to print from Word 2010 - an 8 page color newsletter which is normally around 3 - 3.5 mb. After update from 3.2.0 to 3.2.1 the file is now 6.81 MB with all images compressed to < 150 dpi.

How can I get the file size back down. I must save as PDF/A 2b

Hi,

I can’t think of anything in the latest update which could be causing this, did you perhaps also switch the edition from free to plus/business or vice versa? Is the original document unchanged? I will check if I can reproduce this here.
