Watermark: Windows Script Host error [Windows 8]

Hello everyone,

since installing Windows 8, I’ve been unable to get the AddWatermarkToPdf.vbs script to work. Whenever I try to print something with a watermark (which has been working for years) I receive the Windows Script Host error that the file could not be found. The referenced line of the script is 50. This is where pdftk is launched.

The strange thing: The “fileExists” checks above seem to go through. And I’ve checked the paths of pdftk and my watermark pdf a few times - they are definately correct.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi,

I have had the same Problem using Windows 8 and 8.1.

Moving the directory for pdftk to C:\PDFTK-1.12 and changing this address in the vbs-script solved my Problem.

Maybe this will help you too.

Also it might not work with other versions of pdftk.
