Whenever I try to save a (FireFox) web page that has been converted to printer-friendly format, PDFCreator 1.6.0 hangs when it gets to 62% on the progress bar. It just sits and locks up all browsing-related activity. The only way out is to use Task Manager and end the FireFox process(es), immediately after which the PDF Creator “save” screen pops up - I try to save my file as originally intended but the result is incomplete. I can tell the expected output should be 60 pages, but PDF Creator quits at 37 and I can’t get any closer to getting the whole file. Yes, uninstalled, reinstalled, didn’t matter.
Same problem with PDF creator 1.6.2, Win 7 prof. 64 bit, Firefox 18.0.2:
printing a large de.wikipedia.org site (should result in 23 pages of pdf file) hangs - in several tries - between 62% and 75%, and never comes back. Had to kill FF process by task manager.
Same tested with Opera 12.14 and Comodo Dragon 24.2.0.0 (a security oriented Chrome clone by Comodo/Spain) returns a correct result as pdf file with 23 pages.
Not tested with IE.
Hi,
can you give us the full URL so we can do some tests?
Printing a 20 page site worked without any problems.

Robin
Hangs when printing long facebook threads.
Firefox v 19.
PDF Creator 1.6.2. (also hung with 1.6.0)
Win 7 64 bit professional
Printing hangs and you get the message “Printing (Not responding)” and then all instances of Firefox become unusable.
Here’s a thread with 495 comments. Expand the comments and then try to print.

Hi,
Firefox crashes if I try to print that thread, no matter to which printer.
Printing from Chrome works.
So it is a Firefox issue.

Robin
Yep, it works from IE as well. I appreciate your troubleshooting effort.
