our firewall cuts any connection to lulasoftware, but it seems to be required for the activation of the license.
Is there a workaround?

Hi Pietro,
PDF Architect is co developed with lulu software and they're handling the activation related details. Kindly ask your IT team to white-list the domain or at least this specific request issued by PDF Architect.
