Printing from Allscripts EHR results in multiple pages being created individually instead of them printing to pdf as one document. How to merge into one document?
PDFCreator 1.2.1 Driver is installed on server and Dialog boxes for naming appear on server and not on workstation. How to have PDFCreator on the server for network usage where the dialog box is displayed on the requesting workstation?
I have Allscripts Pro EHR here and we use Windows 2008 Terminal Servers to host the application. I have the EasyPrint driver enabled on the servers and if your workstation has a PDF Creator pritner it should redirect it without any problems. I just tested it here and it worked for me. There are a few hurdles you have to jump through to use all of it in XP (RDP 7 and .NET 3.5), but it does work. If your clients are Vista and 7 you shouldn’t have any problems. I don’t know if you could install the same version of the PDF Creator print driver on both server and workstation if it would redirect without EasyPrint. You might give that a try if you don’t want to use EasyPrint.
