Architect 7 - Cannot open files

PDF Arcjitect 7 (free version). Cannot open a PDF file. When I hit BROWSE to navigate to a folder on my network, the app just locks up. No error. Have to ctrl-alt-del to exit program. Tried on a different machine, opens to desktop folder and then just stops there. Says "Working on it..." but then nothing else ever happens. Does this program not work on a network?

Please advise solution.

Nevermind. I just had to uninstall it, download the latest version and re-install. Not sure why, but that worked.
