I'm using PDFCreator to create pdf file via Registry settings enabling autosave option. When a print 4 or 5 pdf file one by one very fast....PDF creator doesn't print all of them but some of them are zero sized. It seems like the printer cannot notify my application that it is already in use...Is there a control registry key that tells me if the printer is printing or not?
It is possible to monitoring any of the existing keys to know the current state of the printer (Printing or not Printing)?
I'm not sure this will be helpful or not, but I check to make sure that the pdfcreator.exe process is always running (the controlling program). I'm fairly certain that when it kicks out a job it creates a process called pdfspooler.exe.
If you were to check for the existence of pdfspooler.exe and wait until it completes, then this might work. It is just a thought.
I have windows 7 on my machine and the pdfspool.exe process isn't launched during the printing process. While printing I see, and can monitore, the PDFCreator.exe process... Is that the only process I have to looking for?
My problem is that calling several times pdfcreator to print a pdf without any latency interval of time results in a zero size pdf file...
Batch & Print Pro is for batching documents as retainable lists which can be automatically printed in document sequence of your choice, All associated shell printable documents are supported, e.g. PDF, MS Word, HTML, Text Files, Image formats, Excel Spreadsheets, PowerPoint Presentations and many more.
There must be some way to find out about the printing state. Sometimes printers develop technical glitches so if there is a problem then have it fixed. I mostly get my printing works done from a reputed printing company. Recently I had Printing Magnets done, they did a great job.
