I've installed PDFCreator 1.3.2 and it is working well. However, one of the tools I wish to feed PDFs to does not like the Flate Decode (ie, compressed text). Is there a way to tell PDFCreator to not compress the text within the PDF file that it creates? (so the contents of the PDF file are human-readable similar to a PS file)
yes in PDFCreator settings go to Formats->PDF select the compression tab and uncheck "compress text objects".
It is in the PDFCreator settings unter Formats -> PDF. There it is "hidden" just under the blue bar with the words "PDF Compression" - above the second level of tabs.
Thanks for your response. I am not seeing the settings option you described - I checked on the Properties page of PDFCreator in the Printers and Faxes area, and also the Preferences in the PDFCreator program group, so I must be overlooking it. I'll keep looking.
