Combine 2 (or more) .pdf files and create a single pdf/a file with vbscript (win XP)

hi from Rome by a new mamber (but old user of pdfcreator)

I need to make what in subject.

I have tried to use the script CombineAndAddBookmarks.vbs, but when it executes the command

 .cPrintfile cStr(ifname)

automatically starts an istance of adobe acrobat (I have installed) and script stops until I close Acrobat.

I also need to define exactly then name and path for output file (merged), I think to use the last argument sent to the script. How modify the script?

I have tried MergePDFFiles.vbs but it uses a different dll and cannot make a pdf/a file.
