I have PDF Creator 2.1 on a terminal server for my all my users and it’s asking them to update. I don’t want to update just yet but I want the message to go away. Is there a scheduled task/service that runs this check that I can disable or rename so it won’t bother my users?

you can disable it per registry setting, under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\pdfforge\PDFCreator\Settings\ApplicationSettings change the value for UpdateInterval to never.
I think this is currently the only available option, but group policy support is being implemented.
