E-mail a pdf feature doesn't work plus automatic e-mail sending

Hi all,

i am trying to use the “e-mail a pdf” feature, but it doesn’t work to me. Indeed after saving the file it doesn’t do anything else. May it be because i use windoes live e-mail? My os is Win7 professional.
Also, is there the possibility to use custom e-mail addresses, so that it automatically send pdf files to them if they meet set requirements? Also by programming that if possibly.
Thank you,
Gaetano Leoni.

Hi,

which version are you using?
Is Windows live e-mail assigned to be the default application to handle MAPI on your system?

best regards,

The PDF Creator version I’m currently using is the 1.7.3

About windows live e-mail i didn’t understand where to set MAPI
I’ve searched trought the options, but i didn’t find the MAPI setting

Hi,

sorry I just did some additional research and it seems like Windows live e-mail doesn’t support MAPI .
Version 1.7.3 should be able to send mails without MAPI though, is windows live e-mail your default email client (will it open if you click on a email link)?

best regards

Would you tell me how to send -mail with 1.7.3 version of pdf creator?

There should be a email button similar to the new versions of PDFCreator, on the first PDFCreator dialog you get after printing. If you are using autosave, you will need to set this in the autosave section of the PDFCreator options.

best regards,

Sorry, but i was willing to know if it’s possible to automatically send a file to several e-mail addresses. I mean, is there a way to set it, maybe by programming it? Thank you very much for all the help.

Hi,

it will be possible as you can use custom scripts with any PDFCreator version, but you need to be able to write those scripts. You can find some example scripts get installed together with PDFCreator, so you could have a look at those to get an idea.

best regards,

thank’s
