I just downloaded version 1.2.3 and when I used it the first time, I noticed that the fonts are no longer listed as embedded. They use to list as embedded in the properties box in version 1.0.2. Are they embedded, but no longer listed that way?
I have a project coming up that that is important to know.
When I use PDFCreator version 1.3.2 and my setting has "embed all fonts" checked, the resultant pdf viewed with Adobe reader, File/Properties/Fonts, has the fonts not flagged as embedded - that is, they do not have "(Embedded Subset)" following the font names - Courier, Times-Bold, Times-Roman - first Type1, latter two, TrueType. When I use PDFCreator version 1.2.0 and my setting has "embed all fonts" checked, I do observe "(Embedded Subset)" following the font names - TimesNewRoman, TimesNewRoman,Bold - both TrueType.
I meant to ask on my earlier comment about embedded fonts, is the difference between versions 1.2.0 and 1.3.2 intentional, or is it a bug? That is, 1.3.2 does not appear to embed fonts even when embedding is specified, whereas 1.2.0 does embed when specified.
can you give some information on what you are printing etc? We can't reproduce this here. Newer browsers sometimes use some tricks to make font rendering faster, which results in lines instead of real text that ends on the printed page. Maybe this applies here as well.
