Error when installing PDFCreator in Windows 2008 Terminal Server

Hello everyone,

I am getting an error when installing PDFCreator in Windows 2008 Terminal Server.

I am using the following configuration file to perform a silent install:

[Setup]
Lang=english
Group=PDFCreator
NoIcons=0
SetupType=custom
Components=program,ghostscript,images2pdf,comsamples,helpfiles,helpfiles\\english,languages,languages\\english
Tasks=winexplorer
Printername=PDFCreator
ServerInstallation=0
Win9xPrinterdriver=0
WinNtPrinterdriver=0
Win2k32bitPrinterdriver=0
Win2k64bitPrinterdriver=1
Offer=0

And getting an error stating:

Setup/Unisntall has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Please close the program.

Anyway, the application seems to have installed properly. But the problem here is that I need to make this installation a complete unattended installation.

Is this a known issue? I've tried with different versions and got the same issue.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I don´t know if this is the cause, but you have helpfiles and languages twice in your components list.

Robin

Hi Robin,

We have been installing this application using the same file in Windows 7 computers without any kind of issue. This is why we believe this is an issue that has to do with the installer and the environment, not with the installation file.

Pablo.

Hi,

it is not a known issue, please post your setuplog.txt here and we will have a look at it.
I still recommend fixing the syntax in the .ini file.

Robin
