Back in the old forum days I had posted about a bug with PDFCreator that when you print from Excel with multiple sheets the page numbering does not work out right.
Will this be fixed in the upcoming release?
I have a sample Excel 2003 output i can email someone if needed.
Basiclly the problem is if you print two sheets in Excel and they are differnt sizes but you ellect to put the page numbers on every page then the printed page numbers don't match what the actual page numbers are.
Also I posted about making real tight margins in Excel like .2 inches on all sides, Then haveing page that takes up more than the paper size and having Excel fit 1 page wide by 1 page tall and the margins are bigger than .2 thus making the content on the page smaller.
Thanks for the fast response. My problme is not a printer resolution setting. I get one PDF print job output, the problem is the page numbers don't match up with reality. Even on the page the window that pops up that says "printing ". this number counts incorrectly.
It may count to 12 but only have 7 pages. Or I have seen case where it may count 6 pages 8 pages then 5 pages then 10 pages.
I sent an email with a sample file but never heard back.
Did you ever figure anything out with the Excel file total page numbering issue like the Example I sent?
I see it regularly when printing multiple excel sheets that are the same DPI but are formatted different.
Basically the total number of pages in the footer is not correct and can vary from one page to another.
I am also seeing that PDFCreator does not respect the margin settings in Excel. I can print to my HP or other printers and it takes less pages that if i print to PDFCreator. things seem to flow onto more pages with PDFCreator.
Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same problem. Was excited to finish a big excel macro to automatically print to pdf and email some things, and get some calls back that the PDF's are unreadable. The margins I have set are to print one line per page with a header and footer, but it's shrinking that line to maybe half the page width.
Total page number bug is always related to margin bug. It is simple. If excel try to reproduce worksheet to PDF it sees that PDFC has larger margins than previous printer so it generates more pages. Even if it fits to 1 page it always has smaller printable area on PDFC than real printer.
