Hello,
I've been complaining about excel 2007 for some time now but today I figured out that its not excel but PDFcreator that is causing the problems!
Problem description
If the width of 1 or more columns exeeds a certain value it will no longer be printed correctly if you use "fit to 1 pages wide" in the page setup options.
Reproducing the error
The first 10 rows of column A contain "AAAA"
The first 10 rows of column B contain "BBBB"
The first 10 rows of column C contain "CCCC"
Situation 1
Step1) Change the standard width of column C to 135
Step2) Chane text alignment to "Align text right"
Step3) Select column A, B and C and setup the print preview to print selection and print to 1 pages wide
Result: Column C will not be shown on the page in print preview
Notice that the total widths of the columns equals 2* 8.43 + 135 = 151.86
Situation 2
Step1) Change the width of column A, B and C to 60
Step2) View print preview again (using print selection and print to 1 pages wide)
Result: All columns are shown while the total width is larger! (180 vs 151.86)
This happens only if I use the PDFprinter. I updated my version from 0.9.5 to 1.2.0 but the problem persists.
I'm using Excel 2007 (12.0.6545.5000) SP2 MSO (12.0.6545.5004)
Is anybody else able to reproduce this problem?
Regards,
Lucas
