For your information I have been using pdfcreator with an open source barcode generator based on postscript. Therefore barcodes for free if your software can use raw postscript commands.

Use the Barcode Writer in Pure Postscript linked to the pdfcreator.

I have a barcode maker(http://www.onbarcode.com/asp_net/pdf-417-generator.html) in hand. But it can not create barcode in PDF directly. Can I use this barcode maker to move the created barcode into  PDF? I read the barcode creation tutorial. It seems it does not support. What can I do?
