Does anybody know why Fortinet blocks the PDF Creator download mirrors as ‘Malicious Websites’? It’s making it very difficult to keep our systems up to date.
You’d think this would be the sort of thing that would get the attention of the folks at PDFForge, but since I initially posted this this morning, it hasn’t even gotten a view from anybody but me.

we are located in Europe so we might be in a different timezone.
Are the actual PDFCreator download mirrors blocked, or the URL where the offer screen gets downloaded during the setup?
The offer screen which is downloaded during the setup does sometimes cause false alerts, we are alread looking into this issue but there doesn’t seem to be an easy solution.

You might want to try getting in contact with Fortinet to find out why your mirrors are classified as they are, and what needs to be done to clear up the issue.

it is really strange,
they are blocking white and orange mirrors, but olive isn’t blocked although it contains the exact same files.
I have contacted them by mail and now waiting for a response.
