I’ve tried installing PDF Creator version 5.3.2 on machines, usually running Windows 7 Pro. In some cases, during the installation process, the Windows HelpPrinter program stops working. After closing its window, PDF Creator finishes installing but then shows the following message:
"No printers installed"
"You do not have any PDFCreator printers installed. Most likely, something went wrong during setup or the installation was modified afterwards. Do you want to fix this by reinstalling the PDFCreator printers?"
I select "Yes", and after being asked twice for administrator credentials, I receive the following:
Title: "Error"
Body: "PDFCreator could not repair your printers. Please contact your administrator or support for help with this issue."
I have no idea where to find a possible log that could help identify the problem. I tried using the command line to uninstall and reinstall the printer, but it tells me the /installprinter or /uninstallprinter command is not supported...
Any idea how to fix this issue?
