How to convert PDF version 1.3 to PDF version

Our Engineering Group analyzed an application we use that generates a v1.3 PDF (a very old version) and that it was created by PDFCreator Version 0.8.0. Also, it is using a color key mask, which is quite rare.


Is there a way you can use a newer version of PDFCreator so we get a newer PDF version for these files?

do you mean directly from the application, or “upgrading” the version of your existing PDFs?
If directly from the application, it depends if it will run on Win XP SP2 or higher, as this is the minimum required OS for later versions of PDFCreator.
