How to determine the sequence of pages within the PDF?

This is the process we follow;

1) the Canon scans a series of pages (20) and puts these automatically in a folder with the 20 JPG's named image_001.jpg --> image_020.jpg
(at this point image_001.jpg is page1 from the scanned series of pages - OK

2) we select all the pages in folder (see above) and do a print to the PDFCreator printer - the screen that opens (Print Pictures) shows the pages in a different sequence  (page 1 - image_001.jpg is now the 3rd in the stack - and becomes the 3rd page of the PDF

 - we don't see an option to change the order in which these 20 selected pages can be printed into the final PDF document. There is only a option buried somewhere in the options of that Print Pictures screen that is titled : PDFCreator Document Properties > Layout > Page Order> Front to Back or Back to Front

Can someone please give some advice - we are first time users of PDFCreator ...and have gone through the documentation on this site :-)

the pdfforge team has a new product called Images2PDF. Direct converting of images without the print process. If this is an option for you and you want to be one of the first user who can test it send me an email.

nobody ?

has anybody tried the same ? how come the selection of the different files cannot be controlled (is that an explorer issue ?). But nevertheless it ruins the working of an excelllent program like PDFCreator
