How to install the free version 6 of PDF Creator?

When ever I start the installtion of the new version 6, I am asked to buy a license or to enter an email address for 30 day trail or to use an existing license.
There is no possibility to use the free version.
What do I need to do to use it for personal free use?
Thanks for help!

Thanks for at least one reply.
I think I will choose the same solution. It is a pitty, I worked with PDF Creator for many years now.

It seems that this is possible if the computer is not part of a domain. You can install previous version from pdfforge Download (not try if upgrade from 5.3.3 will work).

Thanks for the reply. That might be the reason. We will change to another program instead.

PDFCreator Free remains available for personal use. However, for business environments—especially within Windows domains—we now require PDFCreator Professional or Terminal Server. This ensures better security, compatibility with the latest Windows updates, and access to features designed for business workflows. It also allows us to continuously improve the product to meet evolving business needs.

If you are outside of your business set up and this continues to occur please get in touch with our support.

Where can I download the Open Source edition of PDFCreator 6? I cannot download from https://github.com/pdfforge/PDFCreator

According to https://docs.pdfforge.org/pdfcreator/en/pdfcreator/license/:

If you are using the Open Source edition of PDFCreator, you have to respect [PDFCreator Freeware License], [GNU Affero General Public License] and [pdfforge Freeware License].

PDFCreator Freeware License

PDFCreator is licensed under the terms of the GNU AFFERO GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE (AGPL). This license ensures the most freedom for the users of a piece of software. The license gives you the right to use the software, read and modify the source, create derivate work and give this to your users, as long as you do not change the license and thus grant the same rights to them.

But PDFCreator also bundles other components, that can have other licenses. In General: If you only want to use PDFCreator at home, in your business or anywhere else, you may do it for free and in an unlimited way. You may also give copies to friends, distribute it on all PCs in your company and such things.

You should state this in the download page, clearly, before wasting people's time.

Well, they announced, but in the Blog: https://www.pdfforge.org/blog/pdfcreator-6-0-0
