Incorrect author and title savings for new files

Hi forumer, I’m using pdf creator since two years, but last file that I converted shows some strange author and title properties: all of these are not what I wrote, but a group of numbers and letters, like /336/337/000A/… and so on! what is happening? I tryed to remove all token by the “save” tab and to restore all default settings but without any result! thank you in advice

did you enter the Author and title information, or did it get taken from the PDF?

Hi, I’m sorry but I don’t understand what you mean for “it get taken from pdf”. When I click “print” on a document (like a .doc or similar, it happens also when printing photos or anything), it shows me the “printing page” form with “title of document”, creation date, author, … I tryed to erase all default entries and modify them, then I tryed to leave the default entries but the result is the same, after saving it, when I look on the file properties (eg. clicking with the right button on the newly created pdf file) it has title and author with those “codes” that I report in my first post. The fact is that when I load the file on my server and I open it in my browser, the title of the page is that group of numbers and letters! Thank you, regards

we havn´t heard about this happening yet, have you already tried to un- and reinstall the PDFCreator?
Does this happen for any application you print from?
