.Inf setup information file : Meaning of "Offer" option?

Hello,

I’m trying to look at the .inf parameters available.

I can’t find any documentation from you about the .inf options available, but a kind note in the PdfCreator manual (1.7.3) at the “/component” command-line option states that if we wanted more information on components to install, we have to use the “/saveinf” option.

Fine, but then I discovered the “offer=1” at the end of the generated file.

It’s puzzling me.

My first guess would be that it’s an option to accept or not some ad-program offer that goes along with the installer.
But… During my installation process I had not seen any offer !
and 1 should mean “true” and so it actually installed something ?!

Could I have some more information ?
Should, for sake of safety, use “Offer=0” in my ini setup file ? Or Offer=1 means “no offer” ?

offer=0 should be turning the offer off.
You can’t really installanything by accident, even if you get something wrong in the .inf file, the additional offers always require the user accepting them, this can’t happen automated.
