Have exactly the same problem! Also Windows 98.

Uninstalling .NET (3.5) helped me on Windows Vista Home Ed.

Thanks abca.....I only have net 2.0 installed and all previous versions of PDF Creator have installed and ran OK......

I think they have a problem with the installer (based on mine and several other messages abouut the install of 1.1.0) and I hope they get it corrected soon...

Guess I may have to fall back to version 1.0.2

My system has 1 GB of memory.....tried an install from a DOS window with the

/forceinstall parameter and got exactly the same message....

"Internal Error ExtractTemplateFile Toolbar.bmp not found"

Ok, I just succeeded on installing 1.1.0.. but it looks like I was actually attempting to install 0.9.1 (as I have a DL of that as well). So the issue may have not been 1.1.0 at all......

I was able to do a force install of 1.0.2.

How many memory is installed on your system?

Try the installation with the parameter /ForceInstall

I'll have to try forcing it later as I'm quite busy at work.. the system has 4gb ram (64bit windows 7).

If you have any luck finding instructions or other help please post it......I have not had any luck finding anything to help......

Is there no help for solving this problem? Any ideas appreciated......

 Hi All

I had this error too. I disabled Kaspersky Internet Security and retried. Error went away and installation started. I then restarted Kaspersky beore continuing the installation.

Hope that helps :)

diid you have any other ideas on how to fix the install problem??

Install also failed for me on 1.1.0 (clean install, i.e. no prior versions), something about installer missing files. Problem is I can't use the unistaller either. It quits part way through, and the 1.0.2 installer won't run without the prior version being uninstalled. I'm on 7 (64bit).

I'm going to search for manual unistall instructions in the meantime.
