Jpeg to pdf, 1:1 conversion

I have about 300 images, scanner output that I would like to convert to pdf files. In this process the output expected to be 300 pdf files and NOT only 1 merged pdf file.

I tried images2pdf but it gave me 1 pdf. Is there any other setting employed in PdfCreator that can be used for this job? I do not want ‘print’ each and every image to pdf using PdfCreator as a printer.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

it should be possible to simply drag&drop all the images onto the PDFCreator startup window, previous to that enable automatic saving in the profile settings so you don’t need to save each file manually.
Alternatively you can use the free PDF Architect create module to batch convert the entire contens of a folder to PDF.

best regards,

Hello,

Thanks for a quick answer. I managed to get autosave done.

Two glitches,
- I can’t force the output file to take input file’s name, e.g. input file is IMG0123.jpg, I would like pdf to be IMF0123.pdf so that I know which file is converted and which is not, in case of any error.
- For some odd reason, all resulting pdf are 180 degree rotated. I played around with orientation under PDF section of profile setting, no avail.

Any pointers here?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

the first issue depends on the printing application and the token you are using. Did you use the token? The easiest way to get the correct filenames is using the batch import function from PDF Architects free create module.

the second issue is really a bit strange, while the automatic detection doesn’t always work, directly selecting the orientation under profile setting->PDF should work. Is the printing application setup to print in the correct orientation? You could also try to set this in the settings of the virtual PDFCreator printer, allthough this normally shouldn’t be neccessary.
