Members of the digital diecutting community rely heavily on the print to PDF capability available only in PDF Creator versions 1.7.3 or earlier. I notice that you have removed the legacy version from the PDF Creator page. Is there somewhere else that earlier versions can be safely downloaded? Please consider restoring this critical feature in version 2. Thank you.
Hi,
what exactly do you mean? PDFCreator is all about printing anything to PDF and this is still the main component in any version. Do you mean the direct .ps to PDF conversion?
You can safely download all legacy versions below 1.7.3 from sourceforge (1.7.3 is still hosted on our servers, here:
)
best regards,
Thank you so much for that link, Robin. Let me explain … Earlier versions of PDF Creator had an option to save as SVG. Typically, programs for diecutting accept SVGs but not vector PDFs. Using PDFCreator was an easy way to “print” vector content directly to the format needed. This allows a crafter/maker to design in MSWord, for instance, instead of needing to download and learn Inkscape, etc.

Thank you for your consideration.
It seems the link above is no longer active. Is there a new one? Our community really needs this SVG producing capability not available elsewhere. Thanks.
Hello,
I am not sure why the link is not working for you. I just used this link to download and install 1.7.3:
Please make sure that you decline the offer to download the newest version after you started the setup.

Thank you. My blog readers had reported the issue and I wasn’t able to get to that link before either. So glad it wasn’t a permanent issue. Thanks so much for your response!
