"Margins" or "White Space" from MS Word to PDF

How can I control the amount of margin created in the pdf going from MS-Word to PDF?

I want the final pdf text to start 0.6" from the top (most printers can handle that).  I am cramming a lot of text in it, so it runs down to the end of the 11" leaving only 0.6" margin at the bottom.  

All this seems to be related to scaling in the different steps.  MS-Word-Doc to PDF Doc  to  Printer.

 Phillip,  It seems to be adding more "margin" to the 0.6 inches.  Am I missing some parameter in MS-Word?

Hello,

basically, PDFCreator can do everything MS will let it do. So if you set PDFCreator as current printer in Word it will see that PDFCreator has no page margins defined. If you now define your page margins as you wish, Word is able to place the text accordingly and it will also show up in the right spot in the final PDF.
