I am also unable to download or install PDF Creator.  ESET complains about the Dealio toolbar.  I have tried at home and at work, can we get a download that does not include the toolbar?

 the response of Eset :

Dear xxx,

Thank you for your submission. This isn't FP.

Can you verify this ?

I also can’t even download the setup-file because NOD32 blockes the download because of Dealio.
Can this toolbar be removed?

I have the same problem with the newest version of PDFCreator 1_2_3 : it's impossible to download because NOD32 v4.2 detects a threat on the setup file.

With other versions there wasn't problems with setup files, in case there was some problem with the toolbar's setup file.

Any suggestion?

Do we have to look for some other PDF converter?

Same ESET problem here.

Today, I realised that my PDFCreator had stopped working. It came up with an error message. I uninstalled it, and tried to download the latest version V1.2.3. ESET wouldn't let me. However, the version which I had been using (V0.9.7) downloads - and works - OK. It is available here (please fix wrap if it occurs):

There could well be a later version download somewhere, but I haven't looked for it.

Hi All,

I tried this approach...

ESET NOD32 also detected the Adware Dealio Toolbar on the download from both SourceForge and from findmysoft.com.  Tried multiple times then disabled ESET and the download worked.

I scanned the download (after re-enabling ESET) and it found two infected files.  Cleaning just ends up deleting the entire install package - so that was no good.

I made sure I unchecked the "install toolbar" options in the installer menu.  Probably unrelated and I would do this anyway because I hate stupid toolbar add-ons!

I started the installation process.  ESET stopped twice and prompted me to delete an infected file - I selected "delete".

The installation completed and pdf creator works.

Scanning my PC detected no infections.

PDFForge... please fix your stuff!

Cheers,
