Norton Scan of new upgrade

The PDFforge 3 upgrade file contains trash.  This is not the first time.
Considering how much money I have paid your team, I would think you could secure your product out of respect for your customers.

This is hilarious!  My post is now dated December 1969.

The date stamps, amount of spam posts and the lack of responses from the pdfforge team, doesn’t leave me with a warm, fuzzy feeling.  Looks like the virus people are running the farm.

currently the offer screen contained in the free version of PDFCreator is causing a problem with Norton/Symantec.

It contains InstallMonetizer, which they detect as a PUA (potentially unwanted application), which leads to our entire domain being flagged as “suspicious”. Even though PDF Architect 3 doesn’t contain InstallMonetizer (and it isn’t a threat in the first place), it gets flagged because it is hosted on the same servers as the free version of PDFCreator. We are already in contact with Norton/Symantec to sort our the situation, the problem should be resolved within the next few days.

You can upload the PDF Architect 3 setup to to have it checked by multiple products and if you trust it is a false alert, it can be recovered from the quarantine within Symantec. If you downloaded it from our servers we can guarantee it is free of any virus/threat/malware/adware/spyware.

Unfortunately sometimes there occurs a problem with the time stamps. The problem is temporary and should be solved soon.

Sorry for the trouble.

best regards,

Thank you for a very clear and concise explanation of the situation.

I appreciate it very much.
