There was a compile error in one of the last setup during a language update. Please download PDFCreator again and check it. Sorry for this.
Hi
I've got exactly the same issue for V 1.2.0
If you set an Auto Save location, save, then close the pdf creator window, the next time you open it the auto save location has returned to teh default
I have same problem it doesn't profile ....
I have the same problem on windows 2008 server
Seems to be a "big" problem in 1.2: http://de.pdfforge.org/forum/help/6743-pdfcreator-save-preferences-doesnt-read-them
I also have exactly the same issue with V1.2. I am trying to use a server install with autosave but each time the program is closed the settings are wiped. The settings are being set in the registry but are wiped when the program is opened again.
Works like a charm !
Thank you for the Update
I realize this thread is old, but I am having the exact same problem with the newest version. (1.4.1)
Is it possible it has the same complie error again?
Any and all settings/options are not recalled from the registry after the application closes. This happens on both of my servers. One of them runs Server 2008R2 (x64), and the other server is Server2003R2 (x86).
Are you using the server installation?
I am having the same problem with a server installation on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard... PDF Creator version 1.4.1
I am also having the problem of not being able to use saved settings in Server mode with 1.4.1 on a Windows 2003 server.
I have the same problem on 1.4.1 running in server mode. I see the registry entry, but everytime I open up PDFCreator under a user profile it doesn't have the auto-save selected and the save path/settings revert back to defaults. One work around I've found is opening using the settings option and it won't auto-save the first print job in the queue, but will start working on the rest of them so you only lose one job if you cancel.
Oops sorry running on Server 2003 R2.
Hi,
