Opening a new PDF in a new window not a tab - Architect 8

With Architect 7 you could change a setting which allowed every PDF opened to open in a new window of its own rather than tabs. You either had it on or off. Bit of a faff but at least you had the option.

With Architect 8 you don't seem to be able to do that and can only have side by side view. I want to be able to see different PDFs at the same time on two different screens so opening in new windows.

I use Architect through work but at home I use Nuance (now sadly obsolete and taken over by Kofax). With Nuance I can just pick up a tab and drag it and it opens in a new window, that is so much more user friendly and would love for Architect to to the same.

Any ideas please? Thank you

This has been reported on and is now apparently implemented in version 8, you can enable it from the settings menu (the cog-wheel on the right side)

No official statement thought, no release info for new version i am not sure what the PDF A team is doing.
Reported multiple issues in 8 with no updates on what has happened to them.
