Hi,
i hope this topic is not already covered..i didn't find an actual entry for this problem:
we are using your PDF creator for many years and we almost never had troubles.
We use the creator to produce pdf/a-1b (ISO 19005-1 level B conformance) pdf-files which are afterwards stored in archives from local authorities. These archives use validation to verify if the ISO standard is fulfilled. Since a few weeks a new validator is used at the archive (3Heights Validator) http://www.pdf-tools.com/pdf/pdfa-online-pruefen.aspx to check against the ISO standard. Every document that we create with pdfcreator 1.4.3 as an pdf/a-1b is negatively validated at the validator. It says:
Validating file "Ver14.pdf" for conformance level pdfa-1b |
Wrong namespace '(null)' for value type 'ResourceEvent'. The required namespace is 'http://ns.adobe.com/xap/1.0/sType/ResourceEvent#'. |
The value of the key N is 4 but must be 3. |
The document does not conform to the requested standard. |
The document doesn't conform to the PDF reference (missing required entries, wrong value types, etc.). |
The document's meta data is either missing or inconsistent or corrupt. |
Also checking the documents at http://www.intarsys.de/pdfa-check is negative. It says that CMap has inkonsistant WMode Values. It also says that the PDFA Ouputintent is errorneous.
Is it possible that pdfcreator produces non ISO conform pdf/a-1b files? Is there any workaround to solve the problem?
Thank you in advance for your suggestions and comments.
Ciao Lothar
