PDF and opening files in separate Architect windows/instances

I have PDF Architect v9. Is there a way where I can open two PDFs, but not as tabs, but as a separate Architect app/window? The tab feature is very limiting if I need to basically view two PDFS, side-by-side, on two different monitors, for comparing them. Thanks for your help.

you can change the default behavior for this inside the general section of the PDF Architect settings:
