I get the following error message when I try to open Pdf Architect.
PDF Architect Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall 3 times and get the same thing. I’m running Windows XP SP3
Hi,
please try the following procedure:
1. Authorize in Windows account as administrator.
2. Check if the Windows Automated updates function is enabled and all the updates are installed. Ensure that there is no msiexec.exe process in the list of running processes. If it is on the list restart OS.
3. Close all the windows and applications.
4. Uninstall PDF Architect
5. Install PDF Architect again. At the last step of installation uncheck the option "Run application"
6. Go to Start -> Run-> services.msc /s
7. Make sure that services “PDF Architect Helper Service” and “PDF Architect Service” are started. If not then start them.
8. Run PDF Architect. If you have slow processor and/or there is few RAM, then wait couple of seconds for application to start.

Robin
Thanks Robin,
I went through each step and I still get the same message. I uninstalled twice more just to make sure I was doing it right. I restarted the computer after each uninstall.
Hi,
sorry to hear that, I have tried to somehow reproduce this here, without any success.
It must be a system specific issue which will be hard to solve without a remote session. Please call our phone support http://web.pdfarchitect.org/support, it might be easier to find the problem in a direct conversation.
regards,
Robin
