PDF Architect shows empty page

Hello,

 

I got problems using the pdf-architect. In detail when I open some pdf-files (created via pdf-creator 1.4.3), then ist only shows an empty page.

PDF ARCHITECT Version 0.5.6.565 // Win 7 Enterprise 64bit

Pls. tell me if you need more information.

thank you for pointing this out, at the moment PDFArchitekt is being rebuilt from scratch and it should work a lot better once it is finished.

This might be related to a lack of support for specific image encodings. I have PDF files created by other software which show missing images only in PDFArchitect, images that were imported as original PNGs with limited palette or with transparency. One missing feature may be a JBIG2 decoder (here the Foxit Reader tried to install a plugin), another may be handling of transparency layers (Foxit Reader could display these images, PDFArchitect not).
