Pdf files generated are corrupt ... sometimes

We use PDFCreator to generate email attachments and sometimes the file is corrupt. When you try to open the File with Adobe Reader:  "This file is damaged and could not be repaired.."

We use PDFCreator 1.1.0

We haven't figured out when it happens... it just happens from time to time.

Any ideas?

If you can paste the detailed pdfcreator log here, someone else may help analyse the problem.

Hi,

I have the same problem.  I'm running WinXPpro64 SP2 and version 0.9.6 worked fine but 1.1.0 doesn't.  If will not PDF web pages (used for a reference library for my work) but will occasionally PDF MS Word and Excel Files.

Error Message:

Title:Adobe Acrobat
There was an error opening this document.   The file is damaged and could not be repaired.

A thought -- does the PDF write OK but not read because the default PDF reader is too old.
