When I attempt to create a PDF file from a web page or from MS Word using PDFCreator 0.9.9 the program pauses and starts reconfiguring other programs on my computer. Programs from ESRI are targetted, they are graphics programs for map making. The corruption is dected by the ESRI programs when they are run later and they attempt to reconfigure again. The repair fails and the programs can no longer run, requiring a reload that takes hours. ESRI programs use poscript, gostscript, pdf and many other graphic formats. Any ideas on how to avoid the reconfigure, or fix it afterwards?
