Pdfcreator 1.3.2 no prompt for Password

Hi , Maybe anyone can help on this: Installed 1.3.2 on XP , enabled Security , checked all needed boxes. After clicking on Save Button there is no prompt for typing The Password in!! Did The Same in a w7 x64 - all working. Pdfforge.dll is present in Plugin dir. When checkin The Logs theres no line givin information about passwords. Happy to See Some suggestions on how to fix that Thanks in advance, Fba

Hi,

 

are you trying to set a password for user or for owner?  Which encryption settings did you use?

I just tested it myself with low security and was able to set both passwords.

Hi,

 

what happens if you try to open a file which was created with encryption but no password prompt? Does it open or do you then have to enter some password? Maybe there is a password provided in the hidden settings ( by an Admin for example ) which would stop the password prompt on saving.
