PDFCreator 2 create files with no owner that cannot be deleted

Just installed PDFCreator 2 (was happily using 1.x for years). Now I
find PDFCreator create files I cannot remove or change. It says I need
admin privs, but I have that. Even if I run Windows Explorer as admin, I
still cannot change permissions on these files or remove them. The
current owner of the file can’t even be displayed, and I cannot change
the owner, despite having admin privs.  I’m extremely unhappy with this
version of PDFCreator.

Any response on this?  I have the same issue.  It has been working quite well, and now I have the same issue.  When sending a job to PDFCreator, 2 files show up in the spool directory (C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\PdfCreator\Spool)… both files have the same name, but the extensions are different.  The .ps file can be deleted, but the .inf file cannot be deleted.  You must change the owner, then set file permissions before being able to delete.  I checked my Norton Antivirus logs and there is no event occurring in Norton, so it is not being locked.  Looking at the error log, I see this…

2014-12-08 11:35:09.8785 [Error] pdfforge.PDFCreator.App.TryStartApplication: There was an error while starting the application: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path ‘C:\Users\Christopher\AppData\Local\Temp\PDFCreator\Spool\F7E79C6BD9E0482E8FE36FDECF9434D4.inf’ is denied.

I’ve checked the permissions on every individual folder in the path above, they all have full permissions for user, system, and spooler.  I changed the owner and permissions on one of the inf files and the file before popped  up in the “save file” dialogue box and saved, but this is the only one that has saved.  I have not been able to reproduce that condition.

I am completely out of ideas.
