PDFCreator as a service with multiple instances

Hello All,

I run PDFCreator 1.2.3 on a W2003 server.

I installed it as a service using SC and Svrany.

I have an automated process that prints automatically from SQL Server.

I configured it with auto save to a specific directory and It works fine.

But when an admin logs in on the server, it starts a PDFCreator process in his session and the service stop working. I have to kill PDFCreator user process manually.

I should have missed something during installation. Can I configure PDFCreator not to run under user sessions (Only as a service)?

Thanks for your help, and for this very useful software.

Regards

Hi,

do you perhaps have some kind of setting, which automatically launches PDFCreator every time a admin logs in? Normally PDFCreator doesn´t start by itself. Or did I misunderstand your problem?

Robin

Hello Robin,

Thank you for your answer.

Indeed, users that logs in on this server are all admins.

We use terminal server in admin mode.

When I check processes in tsadmin, there is one pdfcreator process in each rdp session, plus one under disconnected which is pdfcreator service.

In admin session. pdfcreator icon appears in the tray. For now, we close manually the application in each session.

I'll check settings.
