Hello
I saw, that the donates for the msi-installer are enough: http://de.pdfforge.org/donations/msi-installer
What's about the MSI-Installer?
I need it to deploy in our domain (GPO)..
Best regards

kind regards,
Philip
Hello
Thank you for the answer.
Is there a work around?
Best regards
no news??
Some news about the MSI package?
Time is long...
Will the MSI installer automatically create the temp directory, or use an existing temp directory instead? Every time I upgrade PDFCreator, it complains that C:\\Program Files\\PDFCreator\\Temp doesn't exist. I have to manually create that directory from an elevated Explorer window, then change its security permissions so that all users have full control. That process requires *three* UAC prompts in Vista on top of what the installer requires: the first to elevate Explorer, the second to confirm directory creation in a Program Files subdirectory, and the last to change security permissions. That should all be done by the installer automatically--or better yet, use the TEMP or TMP environment variable (where each user should always have full control) as the tempfile location.
Excelent post. I'am waiting solution for that problem from version 0.8.x too. Please fix the creating Temp spooler folder problem in the right place with the proprer security permission for all version of Windosw OS.
I'm starting to wonder if we are ever going to get this.
I'll dontate more money if needed....
Im looking into this. I have vb6.0 pro and Visual Studio 2008 pro. Whichever leads to faster package compilation. Im interested, but i dont want to just throw money at a problem. As the OP said, I too am seeking to deploy thise wonderful software across a domain. Im sure my employeer will be laying down cash for this project too since its saving our asses so completely.
What I really want to see is a project outline, some details on what has to happen next, a call for assistance, and a cost outline. As in, the 200$ Im willing to put into this, would result in "X" amount of progress twoards the project goal.
Im going to repost to this effect soon after I tool with recompiling all the *.vbp bits. I think msi files can recursively install msi files, but I only just started tooling with the source ano hour ago.
No news at all!?
