PDFCreator prints only, if Monitor is open

Hello guys,

I have a problem with PDFCreator on a Windows SBS 2008. It ran about 3/4 year, but now it doesn't work well. PDFs are only created when the print monitor is open on the server now.

 

Can someone help me?

I'm using windows 7 professional, but I also testing it on windows SBS 2003 and the software doesn't make PDF files, unless the monitor is open

Occurs when printing on the local server or from a remote client

I had the same problem. To resolve this you need to install PDF creator as a service on your print server.

It's a bit invloved but I managed to get it working following the following instructions-
