I'm running a fully patched win2000 SP4 with i.a. pdfcreator, pdfforge toolbar and openoffice (latest) installed. When upgrading to the latest version of pdfcreator I uninstalled both creator and toolbar (via add/remove sw) but chose only to reinstall creator - following that my installation of openoffice refused to launch with the message "MSVCR90.DLL could not be found in %path%". After some analysis and de-/reinstalling pdfforge toolbar along with creator it appears that uninstalling the toolbar removes the file MSVCR90.DLL from "C:\\<%windir%>\\system32" regardless if this file is needed for any other application. Can anyone verify this behaviour and can this possibly be fixed in a future release? Regards, -Ben
Hello,
This seems to be an error in the uninstaller of the old toolbar. To get the MSVCR90.dll back, you can use the official installer by Microsoft:
