Print monitor fills up - no files saved

I installed PDF Creator 1.2.3 after using a previous version for a while. Now I can't save any files - the PDF Print Monitor just keeps filling up. I can't delete files from the print queue. I removed 1.2.3 and reinstalled the old version - same problem with the print queue. I'm using Windows XP.

 

Any ideas? - thanks

Let me add that the even though I uninstall 1.2.3 and then reinstall it, the print monitor still contains the same files; the top one has the status 'printing' while all the others are 'waiting'. I note that PDFCreator\\PDFCreatorSpool is present in a Local Settings\\Temp directory - I guess it doesn't get cleared when I uninstall. How do I get rid of the temp files or the directory?
