Print multiple copies of a document to a single PDF file

Hi,

When I use Remote Desktop to work on a computer far away, I cannot print directly to my local printer. Therefore I would like to make temporary PDFs to a network folder, and let my local computer automatically print them on my local printer, and afterwards delete the PDFs.

The problem is: When I print a document with PDFCreator, and I select 2 copies, the output PDF conatins only 1 copy of the document, and therefore only 1 page is printed on my physical printer.

Could you please let PDFCreator “print” to a single PDF file just the same number of copies that would otherwise be printed to a regular printer? The same question was posted here, but obviously you didn’t get the point: http://forums.pdfforge.org/discussion/10630/number-of-copies/p1

I have Windows 7 SP1, and I installed PDFCreator maybe a month ago. I just tested printing 2 copies of a MS Word 2003 document to PDFCreator, and the output PDF had one page only.

Hi,

printing multiple copies to a single PDF is not supported, sorry.

regards,

Robin

Would you consider to support it in the future?

Hi,

there are no plans for it, as we don´t see a big demand for this (yet). Maybe you can set up the automatation in a way, where the number of copies printed by your printer is determined by the folder the file is saved into?

Robin
