Print Spooler not running during install 1.1.0

I went to install the latest version, installed correct, but after install get error that printer services not available. TEXT LOG says as seen below. Tried reinstalling 2 -3 times....is there a way to manually start the print spooler before insatll to avoid the problem? The result is no PDF Creator Printer installed. Software is installed, but no printer to choose.

I'm having the same problem, the install works until it tries to install the printer.. When I tried that comment, i got the following error:

System error 5 has occurred.

Access is denied.

The print spool actually seems to be working, I can print to the Nitro PDF printer and my real local printer. I do see the line "Spooler service: is NOT running" in the top of the install log.

Please advise.

So I had the same problem. Somehow during the install, the spooler was stopped but it did not manage to restart it and the printer install failed. I finally had to go into Services as the Admin and restart the spooler, then run the install as Admin, and it worked. It seems like this is a bug that needs to be fixed in the next version. I never had probllems installing previous versions.

Hello,

it looks as if the spooler is not running. Start the command shell (cmd) as administrator and enter:

net start spooler

and then reinstall PDFCreator again. That should help.

Thank you yes that did work, just had to right click the cmd.exe to run as admin and start spooler, then run pdf install creator as admin - worked fine.
