Printer driver problem?

I installed PDF Creator version 1.6.2 on my Windows XP SP3 laptop.  At the end of the installation, I get this error message:

"During the printer installation, errors have occurred.  A detailed description can be found in the file "Setuplog.txt" in application path".  I hope someone can help me fix this.  Below is the contents of the Setuplog.txt file:

Hi,

please try to uninstall, reboot your laptop and run setup again afterwards.

regards,

Robin

Robin,

I forgot to mention that I tried that already three times, even tried with an older version, but all with same error message at the end of the install process.  Do you have any other suggestions?  Thanks.

Hi,

are there any PDFCreator printers shown in your “Devices and Printers” section of the control panel?
If yes, try removing these manually.
You can also try, if stopping the spooler prior to the setup is any help (by typing net stop spooler into an elevated command prompt (run cmd.exe as admin))
You will need to start the spooler with net start spooler or by restarting your system afterwards.

regards,

Robin
