I’m trying to print a document to A5 page size in PDFCreator 1.7.1 running under Windows XP Pro 32-bit SP3 (fully patched).
In the PDF Print Monitor, “Use fixed paper size” is unchecked:
PDF Print Monitor | Options | Program | Document | Document properties 2 | Use fixed paper size – is unchecked
I start up Notepad (for example) and print as follows:
File | Print | PDFCreator | Preferences | Layout (tab) | Advanced… | Paper Size: (select) A5 | OK | OK | Print | Save | Save
The PDF that’s created has A4 page size, not A5.
How can the A5 page size be used for the printed PDF?

Hi,
you don’t need to setup the PDFCreator printers preferences or options, simply set the desired size in the “page layout”(above “print” in the file menu, I am not sure if it is the correct English translation) of your printing application.

Robin
Hi, Robin.
Thanks for your reply.
I installed PDFCreator 1.7.2 in a new XP virtual machine and the printed page size was A5 as it should be.
The problem, then, is in my host PC, not in PDFCreator.
